This is a fabulous small tree with beautiful, deep purple leaves with five main lobes. In the Autumn it has long lasting, red-purple fruits which develop in clusters just as the foliage is starting to take on brilliant shades of crimson. It has an erect growth habit and produces small, dark red flowers in the spring. A popular and elegant variety which makes a perfect specimen tree for a sunny, sheltered position in a small garden.
